Information about the Fair

Mega Ride Passes available!
Mega Ride Passes allow you unlimited carnival rides during the fair.
Passes purchased before Wednesday of the fair - $45.00

Pre-sale locations include:

  • In Lafayette: United Farmer’s Co-op
  • In Nicollet: ProGrowth Bank, Schmidt’s Meat Market
  • In St. Peter: Arrow Ace Hardware, Chamber of Commerce, Econofoods
Passes purchased during the fair are $50.00 and available at Carnival.

All Grandstand Events Wristbands!
Purchase an All Grandstand Event wristband for access to five grandstand events:  Wednesday-Harness Races, Thursday-Tractor Pull, Friday and Saturday-Demolition Derbies, and Sunday-Compact Car Races. 

$35 - Adult (age 13 and older)
$10 - Students (ages 6 to 12)
(Ages five and under are free)

The All Grandstand passes get you in 1/2 hour BEFORE the general gate is open.  Beat the crowd!  Watch for signs for entry times and gate.

In July and August, you can purchase these passes at St. Peter Chamber of Commerce and Econofoods.

Individual grandstand event prices are:    (* Note: children five and under are free)
Wednesday Harness Racing - $5 for all ages
Thursday - Truck and Tractor Pull - $10 for adults, $5 for students (ages 6-12)
Friday - Demolition Derby - $10 for adults, $5 for students (ages 6-12)
Saturday - Demolition Derby - $10 for adults, $5 for students (ages 6-12)
Sunday - Compact Car Races - $5 for all ages

The Nicollet County Fair is a FREE fair!
Parking on the grounds is $3.00 per day.
